Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is here, and while everyone is looking for discounts on products, there are also some freebies, free trials, and service deals worth checking out.

Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, 2026, giving Prime members 48 hours to shop millions of deals across more than 35 categories.

If you’re already a Prime member, these are some of the extras you may want to take advantage of while they’re available.

🛒 Prime Membership

If you don’t have Prime yet, you may be eligible for a 30-day free trial. Prime currently costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year after the trial, but you can use the free trial to access Prime Big Deal Days deals and other Prime benefits.

📚 Kindle Unlimited: Up to 3 Months Free

Eligible customers may see a 3-month free Kindle Unlimited offer during Prime Big Deal Days. However, the offer can vary by account. For example, some customers may only be offered the standard 30-day free trial.

Before signing up, check the offer shown on your Amazon account to see exactly what you’re eligible for. After any promotional period ends, Kindle Unlimited renews at the regular monthly price unless you cancel.

📖 Amazon First Reads: A Free Kindle Book

If you’re a Prime member and love to read, this is one of the freebies worth checking out.

With Amazon First Reads, Prime members can choose one free Kindle book each month from a selection of upcoming Amazon Publishing titles, giving members early access before the books are officially released. Amazon also offers a bonus short read in select months.

You don’t need a Kindle device to use First Reads. You can read your selection using the free Kindle app on a compatible phone, tablet, computer, or other device.

🎧 Audible: Special Offers for Prime and Non-Prime Members

If you enjoy audiobooks, Audible has a couple of offers worth checking out right now.

Prime members: Eligible new Audible members can get 4 months of Audible Standard for $0.99 per month, plus a $20 Audible credit. After the promotional period, the membership automatically renews at the regular price, currently $8.99 per month, unless you cancel.

Non-Prime members: The offer I’m seeing on a non-Prime account is 3 months of Audible Standard for $0.99 per month, plus a $20 Audible credit. Offers can vary by account, so it’s worth checking what you’re offered before signing up.

With Audible Standard, you can select one audiobook each month and get unlimited access to podcasts while you’re a member.

Keep in mind that Audible is a separate subscription from Amazon Prime, and promotional offers are generally for eligible customers who aren’t currently Audible members or enrolled in an Audible trial. Terms apply.

🎵 Amazon Music Unlimited: Free Trial Offers

If you enjoy listening to music, Amazon Music Unlimited is another subscription worth checking out.

Prime members: Amazon is currently offering eligible Prime members who haven’t previously tried Music Unlimited 4 months free during Prime Big Deal Days.

Non-Prime members: When I checked with a non-Prime account, the offer shown was 3 months free, then $12.99 per month until canceled. The offer is for new subscribers, and offers can vary by account.

Amazon Music Unlimited gives you access to millions of songs, podcasts, and more without ads.

If you shop on Amazon regularly, the Prime Visa is another option worth checking out.

Right now, eligible Prime members who apply and are approved for the Prime Visa can get a $150 Amazon Gift Card instantly upon approval. The card has no annual fee and earns 5% back at Amazon.com, Audible.com, Whole Foods Market, and on Chase Travel with an eligible Prime membership.

During Prime Big Deal Days, eligible Prime cardmembers can also earn 10% back or more on select brands and categories through limited-time Prime Card Bonus offers.

As with any credit card, make sure you review the terms, rewards, and interest rate before applying.

💰 A Few More Ways to Save

💰 A Few More Ways to Save

There are a few other savings opportunities worth knowing about during Prime Big Deal Days.

Eligible Prime customers can get 50% off up to $50 when redeeming American Express Membership Rewards points for the first time, or 15% off up to $15 for eligible active points users. The current offer runs through December 31, 2026. Terms and eligibility requirements apply.

Don’t Forget to Check These Before Prime Big Deal Days Ends

Prime Big Deal Days is only running October 6–7, so some of these promotions are only available for a limited time.

If you’re already paying for Prime, it’s worth taking a few minutes to see which of these benefits you can actually use. A free book, a free trial, or a discounted service can sometimes be more useful than buying something just because it’s on sale.

And remember: free trials and promotional subscriptions usually convert to paid subscriptions after the promotional period, so check the terms and set a reminder if you don’t want to continue.
