Friends, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026 is HERE!
Amazon’s fall Prime shopping event is happening Tuesday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 7, giving Prime members 48 hours to shop millions of deals across more than 35 categories.
If you’ve been waiting to grab something for your home, stock up on everyday essentials, start your holiday shopping, or simply find a good deal on something you’ve already been planning to buy, now is the time to take a look.
What Is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon’s big fall shopping event for Prime members. Think of it as another major Amazon sale, with deals across categories like electronics, home, kitchen, fashion, beauty, toys, groceries, and more.
The 2026 event runs for 48 hours, from October 6 through October 7.
Amazon says there are millions of deals available during the event, including savings on fall favorites, Halloween essentials, everyday items, and products you may want to get a head start on for the holidays.
And just like the summer Prime Day event, new deals can pop up throughout the sale, so it’s worth checking back more than once.
Do You Need Amazon Prime to Shop Prime Big Deal Days?
Yes. Prime Big Deal Days deals are exclusive to Amazon Prime members.
If you aren’t currently a Prime member, you may be eligible for a free 30-day trial, which would give you access to the Prime Big Deal Days deals along with the other Prime benefits.

My Tips for Saving the Most During Prime Big Deal Days
Prime Day can be a great way to save money, but it’s also really easy to get caught up in the excitement and buy things you don’t actually need.
Here are a few things I recommend doing before you start shopping.
Know What You Want Before You Shop
Make a list of things you actually need or have already been planning to buy.
This can help you stay focused instead of filling your cart with random things just because they’re marked down.
Remember, spending $20 on something you don’t need isn’t saving $20.
Check the Price History
Just because something says “Prime Deal” doesn’t automatically mean it’s the lowest price you’ve ever been able to get it for.
Before buying a bigger-ticket item, consider checking its price history with a tool like CamelCamelCamel or Keepa.
This can help you get a better idea of whether the current price is actually a good deal.
Check Back Throughout the Day
Don’t assume that what you see this morning is all Amazon has to offer.
New deals are being added throughout Prime Big Deal Days, including the Today’s Big Deals drops.
If you’re looking for something specific, it may be worth checking again later.
Don’t Feel Like You Have to Buy Something
This one is probably my biggest tip.
You don’t have to buy something just because it’s on sale.
If you weren’t going to buy it before Prime Big Deal Days, ask yourself if you really need it.
A deal is only a good deal if it’s something you actually need or were already planning to purchase.
Best Deals I’m Tracking
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Amazon finds and deals in categories I think are especially useful, including home, cleaning, kitchen, work-from-home essentials, books, kids, and more.
I’ll be adding more as I find them, so this section will continue to grow throughout Prime Big Deal Days.
Shop All of My Prime Big Deal Days Picks on Amazon
I’ve put my hand-picked Amazon finds together in my storefront so you can browse them all in one place.
Check back throughout October 6 and 7 because deals and prices can change quickly.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Prime Big Deal Days can be a great opportunity to save money, especially on things you were already planning to purchase.
But don’t let the countdown timers and “limited-time deal” messages convince you to spend money you weren’t planning to spend.
Make a list. Check prices. Look for coupons. And most importantly, stick to your budget.
If you find something you’ve been waiting for at a price you’re happy with, great!
If you don’t find anything you need, that’s okay too. You don’t save money by spending money just because something is on sale.
Happy shopping, friends!
I hope you find some really good deals and maybe knock a few things off your holiday shopping list while you’re at it!
